    Hello all!
I am working on plans to re-open in the fall and am looking for some advise. Our preschool offers programs which can be added on to your basic preschool class - before care, lunch bunch and after care.  The children are in a stable group during the day. How do I run these programs when I will be mixing groups?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

    Hello Lynda -
We are offering our optional Lunch Bunch program only if/when at least two children from the same preschool group are staying, AND it has to be with one of their morning preschool teachers. So basically the same groups of students and teacher need to carry over to the Lunch Bunch. Parents are being told that advanced registration is required (at least 2 days), no same day drop ins, and that because of this group restriction, we cannot guarantee this program will be available every day. I expect this uncertainty will be difficult for a few of our families who rely on this extended day for childcare, but it's the best scenario I could come up with!

    Hi,
Just wandering is there any special cleaning supplies that you all use?  Is there a vendor who supplies?
    Thank you

hello as for special cleaning supplies. when Lysol  was scarce we used salt water at the end of the day to wipe down the whole center.
we used bleach solution throughout the day and salt water at closing time.  ( we found the salt water suggestion through googling)
good luck to you in the fall!

Are or will lunch boxes from home be permitted? I would like to have parents agree to wash them and the contents each day, but our teachers are concerned about anything coming from home and have asked for all throw away. How are you handling it?

    Good afternoon,
Our program just reopened at a restrictive capacity for Full time children only. For lunch our children are bringing in brown bagged lunches which also includes their snacks for the day, everything must be disposable. Basically our rule of thumb this summer (and possibly into the Fall) "nothing in, nothing out". They walk in with their brown bagged lunch (which we keep refrigerated) and they go home empty handed. So far that seems to be working just fine and parents have been extremely cooperative. Even getting creative with their meals.
