Saturday January 9, 1 -2:30 pm Central Standard Time

"Lessons from Turtle Island: Native Curriculum in Early Childhood Classrooms"
    Virtual Book Club

Facilitation will be provided by Barb Fabre and Tamie Finn (White Earth Ojibwe Nation) of Indigenous Visioning (http://www.indigenousvisioning.com/).
Our facilitators will help provide insight and resources for teaching both Indigenous and non-Indigenous children about Indigenous cultural norms in an early childhood setting. If you would like to connect with other early childhood educators who are interested in tribal and Indigenous issues, then this book club is for you.

    (Back by popular demand!)

Brought to you by NAEYC's Tribal and Indigenous Early Childhood Network and Diversity and Equity Interest Forum.

Thank you Encian for offering this. I am exciting to hear the ideas which you will present. I ordered the book from Birchbark books which is certainly one of the best places to order books

I am glad to see you are rescheduling this!  I have the book and look forward to your insight and discussions.  I hope to learn more about how to investigate Indigenous people from my local area of Tallahassee Florida and include in our curriculum.  Since I attended the first book club, I will look for your email confirmation to attend this one in January.
