I had trouble getting my fingerprints when I got my teaching license. I can't remember how many times I attempted them, but it was at least 6 times! I ended up going to a fingerprint specialist in the state and then the FBI had to piece my fingerprints together. I don't know if this is helpful advice, but I just want you to know I can relate. Using lotion before fingerprinting can help, too! Dry hands are harder to print.

Subject: Fingerprints!!!
What is happening with the livescan fingerprints and why can't they capture MY fingerprints? Now I am awaiting clearance so I can work in California and I feel like a criminal awaiting trial because of the poor quality of livescan!!! Let's talk...this is awful!!! I completely am so frustrated and angry. It is so WRONG to hold back a person's employment due to this process.
