While reading this post, a crazy question arose for me - Why do we even need a superhero?  If we have loving relationships, friends, and a positive and strong sense of self, maybe the question of superheroes is unnecessary.
Just a thought.

Deborah: Right on. In an ideal world, all adults children encounter should be their superheroes. Certainly, it's up to us, early educators, to be their protectors, advocates, and nurturers.
